Accommodation
These are our suggested hotels close to Subway Line 1 (“Linea 1 del Metro”). These are located in “Providencia” which is the safest place at night with nice restaurants, coffee shops and others.
To get to the university you need to drop off at “Metro Universidad de Santiago”. More Information about subway is on this link: https://www.metro.cl/#
From these stations you take 25-30 minutes aprox. to the university. Subway runs from 6:00 am until 23:00 pm. Otherwise there are taxis and buses all the time.

We are searching other options within walking distance from the university.
The university suburb is nice, traditional and have nice restaurants but is not as safe at night as Providencia.
