Hi, Kia ora, mari mari, kamisaraki, Ola, Hola!

We are delighted to meet all of you in just few days in Santiago!!

Here’s some updates for you. After receiving some requests from presenters we have attached the final programme and the book of abstracts. The programme will be available for everyone at the time of registration, and we will have a few copies of the book of abstracts available. We encourage you to download the book to your mobile device if you want ready access to the abstracts.

There will be wi-fi available at the venue. Presenters, please have your presentations on data sticks for easy uploading to the local desktops.

Pre-conference workshops on Tuesday will be held at the Museum of Memory and Museum of Education. Parallel sessions of the main conference (21-23 Nov) will be held at the University of Santiago.

We have also attached a map of the venue to enable you to find your way on the first day. There will be volunteers available throughout the conference to ensure you get to where you want to be!

We will be updating Facebook and Tweeting throughout the conference – please follow us and retweet/share, as well as adding your own points. **Get involved**

We need nominations for the ACEAD executive council.
In line with the constitution, we have the following positions up for election:

President
Vice-President
Archivist
Treasurer
2 council members

These elected positions will make up the council, with the addition of 2 other members drawn from the organising committee of CEAD 2020 (in Auckland). Those 2 members will be decided once that committee is established.

Proposed Change to the CEAD Constitution.
Please vote to delete clause 24.2 from the ACEAD constitution.
This can be done by following this link to our Facebook poll.
Full details are available on Facebook, but the short version is that there are some challenging aspects to the constitution that cannot be brought to the members for discussion unless we have 200 people agree that we may do this. Please vote!!
